Engerman Design – We offer stock plans of home we have already built which can be modified to meet your needs or built as is, as well as professional relationships with local Architects who can design a home with you.
Engerman Contracting – We work with professional subcontractors in each discipline as well as our own employees to manage the construction of your project start to finish with your input along the way – Custom homes, Speculative home builds and Remodeling Project.
Engerman Properties – We continually search for vacant properties to develop and offer for home sites, as well as existing home which are past their prime and could be cleared for new growth. We offer speculative move in ready homes on these properties, the land itself or a hi-bred of the two.

Lake home in Lake Geneva

We had John Engerman build our family lake home in Lake Geneva. We loved working with John and his team. John is a visionary and is very passionate about building beautiful homes. Linda was so patient, organized and knowledgeable. She walked us through every detail and kept us from getting overwhelmed. They were very responsive to our personal requests and input, and they always had great ideas and input. Knowing that we didn’t want to lose two summers with the family at the lake, John told us that he would have the house built in a year. He tore down the old house the day after Labor Day and our home was finished the following Labor Day, even though we added quite a bit of additional work midstream. We have nothing but good things to say about Engerman. It was obvious that they really wanted to please us all along the way. custom house on a newly purchased lot

Engerman Contracting built our custom house on a newly purchased lot. It was the first time either my husband or I have had a new house built. It was actually a very good experience despite all the horror stories we heard about the process of building a house. John Engerman, his assistant Linda and right hand man Derek were there for us every step of the process. They basically walked us through everything from beginning to end. Although we were residing in the Chicago area throughout the process, they kept in constant contact with us, responded promptly to any questions we had, and kept us completely in the loop regarding everything that was being done. Linda was always very helpful and informative on really a daily basis.
