✨ From making furniture to dreaming of cabinet-making in Switzerland, John’s journey led him to pursue college—laying the foundation for what would become Engerman Contracting, Inc.

To this day, that saw sits proudly in his workshop, a symbol of where it all began. 💛

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞: The client fully trusted John’s design vision, seeking a blend of an “old” lake home with a Modern Farmhouse feel. Engerman Contracting delivered, allowing the homeowners to be actively involved in every design choice, from countertops to trim details.

✨ 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 ✨

• Custom Marble Vanity: The wall-mounted marble vanity in the powder room harkens back to a vintage era.

• Lower-Level Charm: The ceramic trough sink with narrow beadboard walls in the lower-level bathroom is perfect for little ones brushing their teeth.

• Classic Lake Home Feel: White oak, hand-hewn beams in the great room create that traditional lake house atmosphere.

• Stunning Lake Views: Three sets of French doors open to a second-floor porch with incredible views of Powers Lake, ideal for entertaining and lake breezes.

• Cozy Nook: The casual seating area off the kitchen, surrounded by windows, was designed for lake views and informal dining—one of the homeowners' favorite features.
